Lavender Home (max. 12 persons) is a fine holiday home situated in the quiet valley of Recht, in the German-speaking part of the Belgian Ardennes. The region is known for being an ideal hiking area. In the neighborhood lie such tourist highlights as the Palace of Stavelot and the High Fens nature reserve. Lavender Home is a detached house which was built in the 19th century and thoroughly renovated in 2004. The traditional 1 m thick stone walls have been preserved, but thanks to the newly built French doors and large windows, the house is very light and sunny. On the southern side of the house there is a 300 m deep garden which ends with a brook and a fish pond complete with a romantic corner where you can sit and relax. The garden has two ponds, a sunny meadow with playground facilities for children and a lot of fragrant lavender!
