The La Langhe region, and particularly the province of Piedmont, offers a surprising variety of sights and activities. Besides numerous castles and abbeys, there are also many museums. For nature lovers there are national parks as well as beautiful natural surroundings just waiting to be explored. In addition to the many already existing resorts, just 5 km away you will find Sentiero di Vita. Opened in June of 2007, this wellness center offers a day of recreation at a high altitude. Sports lovers also come here for golf, horseback riding, trekking, mountain biking / cycling, skiing, rafting, trout fishing and water sports. Piedmont is a culinary exception in northern Italy. Discover the wine regions of Barolo and Barbaresco or try the Dolcettos from the area! You can also sample cheese in Murazzano or Novara. It is interesting to note that the Slow Food movement comes from Bra, and this is only half an hour away from Bonvicino. Smaller guests are also welcome here! 10 minutes from Vecchia Borgata I Muri you will find a real safari park which you can tour by car. Near Mondovi there is the Frabolandia amusement park and just 2 minutes from the accommodation you can go fishing with the children. In the extensive garden, complete with fruit trees and lawn furniture, there is a large pool as well as a separate pool for the children. Here you will also find a Jeu de Boule court, dart board and at the gate, a basketball hoop. In addition, there are plenty of toys for the children to use. In the 'Lavendaria' you can wash for 4.-. Washing powder is included in the price, and there is an iron and ironing board which you can use free of charge. Mountain bikes can be rented on-site ( 7.50 for a half-day and 12.50 for a whole day). Upon request, a trip to Murazzano can be organized. There is fitness equipment which is available for use after consultation. There is a grill for communal use. The highlight of the week is the pizza evening! Choose what you would like to have on your pizza and then watch your pizza being prepared! On the grounds of I Muri you can use the WiFi Internet connection. In this area you can use the Internet without any problems. There is also the possibility for child-care. After consultation the availability of child-care will be checked and then, if available, you can book this service. Information as well as numerous brochures regarding local attractions and activities, is also available. In addition, there is a small shop with food and drugstore items- and, of course, wine! Besides these you can borrow (from the owner) games, books and equipment for the outdoor activities- Jeu de Boules, darts, basketball, badminton raquets, etc.
