The beautiful village of Thalfang is located in the western part of the Hunsruck and makes an ideal starting point for excursions to the Eifel, the Rhine, Moselle and Luxembourg. The more than 1,000 year old Thalfang lies at the foot of the Erbeskopf. This 816-meter-high mountain is the highest point in the region of Rheinland-Pfalz. In and around the village of Thalfang you will find lots of wooded nature where you breathe air which is among the purest in Germany.
